About Me

The Next Right Step

In life, there are many choices - some easy, and some not so easy. Maybe you're at a crossroads and don't know where to go. Or perhaps you just need the courage to take the next right step.

In my own life, finding my way took a lot of hard work. But by God’s grace, with a great support system, and a commitment to what mattered most, I've developed a reliable internal compass. I don't have everything figured out, but I have learned some important lessons.

I learned that personal growth is never a neat and tidy progression. The road is long and winding, with ups and downs along the way. And because there are no shortcuts to any place worth going, it can make all the difference to have a trusted guide walking the path with you.

As your therapist, I'll help you see the detours, dead-ends, and stormy weather events that might take you off your path. I’ll also help you strengthen your own internal compass that will help guide you long after you’ve finished therapy.

Are you ready to take the next step?

My Values as a Therapist

I strive for excellence

I'm always reading, learning, and challenging myself to be a better therapist; everything I teach you is grounded in sound psychological principles. I also practice what I teach and strive to live it out in my own life. I will never approach our work willy-nilly.

I take the responsibility of my job seriously

It is a privilege to venture into all those difficult and vulnerable places of the heart. If I can’t relate directly to your suffering, I know I can relate to the experience of suffering, and I will walk alongside you through it.

I will meet you right where you are

This means being present, relatable, and caring. This might also mean giving a gentle “nudge” here and there because I know you’re ready for it.

I will accept you

Everyone has something to work through. Everyone. Like you, I didn’t get a carefully orchestrated plan for my life. I got the messy, broken, and annoying stuff too. I will never judge any aspect of your life or your decisions, but rather help you see the power and purpose of it all.

I will cheer you on

While pain is an inevitable part of life, I believe our struggles can be made more bearable by the support and encouragement of others. I will always be in your corner rooting for you.

I will show you you’re worth the investment

When was the last time you took inventory of your needs? Does the thought of having needs at all make you uncomfortable? Perhaps its time to consider that self-care is just as important as other-care. You can do more than survive; you were created for a full and meaningful life.

My Approaches

You deserve a space where you can feel heard, understood, and equipped to create meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, major life transitions, or relationship struggles, therapy can help you break free from old patterns and build the life and relationships you want. My approach is direct yet compassionate, guiding both individuals and couples toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection.

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring the approach to the meet the unique needs of the client. In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples who are committed to doing the work to improve communication, resolve conflict, and rebuild trust. My approach is rooted in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), a highly effective method that helps partners quickly identify and shift unhealthy dynamics. Rather than just talking about the problem, I help couples actively transform the way they relate to one another—so their relationship isn’t just repaired, but strengthened for the long run.

Let’s Work Together

If you're ready to take the next step—whether individually or as a couple—I’d love to support you. Therapy is a place where you can learn, grow, and develop the skills to create a more fulfilling life and stronger relationships. I offer both in-person sessions in Ripon, CA, and virtual therapy for clients across California. Reach out today to get started.
